The Force Majeure Project features the works he created during the last 25 years, as well as his most recent oeuvre made specifically for the MMOMA exhibition.

The Moscow Museum of Modern Art together with the MMOMA «Free Workshops» School of Contemporary Art and the Tampere University of Applied Sciences presents a group exhibition titled «Convenient Art». The exhibition is held within the framework of the MMOMA Program for Support to Young Artists and the Special Project of the 6th Moscow International Biennale for Young Art.

JULY 4 — SEPTEMBER 2, 2018

The Moscow Museum of Modern Art with the support of the State Hermitage Museum presents «Untold Story» — a solo exhibition of the world-famous photographer Steve McCurry. The project, which includes more than 80 works, is intended to reveal the author’s creative method and to acquaint the viewer with the process of McCurry’s work as a reporter.

June 16 — July 15, 2018

The Moscow Museum of Modern Art together with the Free Workshops School of Contemporary Art presents a new solo project by Varvara Grankova titled «Nonviolence». The exhibition is held as part of the MMOMA Program for Support to Young Artists and the 6th Moscow International Biennale for Young Art.

May 22 — July 22, 2018

On May 22, the Moscow Museum of Modern Art will open an exhibition celebrating the 80th anniversary of the canonical Russian writer Ludmilla Petrushevskaya. Being more than a biographical project about a person’s life, the exhibition paints a picture of a whole generation delineating recognizable features and aesthetic codes of the Soviet time.

May 14 — June 17, 2018

The Moscow Museum of Modern Art presents a solo exhibition by Sergey Sapozhnikov. The exhibition is built around the DANCE series in which the artist recounts a love story through experimental dance as he mingles the codes of subcultural aesthetics with contemporary art and incorporates set designs and theatrical performance into the urban landscape.

The Moscow Museum of Modern Art presents «Mystery of Being» — an exhibition of a major figure of Russian nonconformist art Vladimir Yankilevsky held in celebration of the 80th anniversary of the artist’s birth, which unfortunately he didn’t live to see.
