Border is the place where one thing ends and another one begins. Conventional boundaries have vulnerable parts and badly defended places, the spaces where transitions from one state into another are possible. Artists track this transit route to another place and time, to the territory of other meanings, to virtual reality. They explore the interconnections of different cultures, of reality and dream. Special attention is given to transitions and passages in various scales and coordinates. The exhibition is co-organized by WRO Art Center, Wroclaw, Poland The exhibition is supported by Polish Institute in Moscow, US Embassy in Moscow, WRO Art Center (Wroclaw, Poland), University of Kentucky |
