First Andrei Roiter's large-scale exhibition in Russia. Roiter was one of the founding members of Detsky Sad (Kindergarten), the legendary Moscow art-squat active in the 1980s. He has been living in the West for more than twenty years.

July 16 - September 8, 2013

The Moscow Museum of Modern Art has been running Masterskaya (studio), its annual exhibition project, since 2001. The project continues to be instrumental in discovering new Russian artists.

May 24 - June 30, 2013

A large-scale exhibition of the works of Dmitry Gutov, one of Russia’s most prominent artists whose name became well-known in the latter part of the 1980s. The exhibition spans the 25-year period of Gutov’s career starting from 1988 and comprises photographs, videos, works made of metal, installations, graphics and paintings.

Photo- and video projects of Russian authors will be on display in the halls of the Moscow Museum of Modern Art within the framework of the Fashion and Style in Photography 2013 biennale.

MMOMA is honored to present an exhibition of works by Andrei Bilzho, a well-known cartoonist, a painter, an artist who made several animated cartoons, an essayist who used to be a psychiatrist.

The New Artists group. 1982-1991

For the first time in Moscow the MMOMA presents an exhibition of the legendary New Artists group and their revolutionary art of the 1980s Leningrad.

Works by Natalya Zaharova, Dmitry Tugarinov, and Mikhail Dronov created during the period of 1989-2009.

Exhibition “Things, Words and Consequences” presents artists from many countries, whose artwork, regardless methods and techniques used — installations or sculpture, drawing or paintings, video or performance — has a key meaning not only in respect to the latest art practices but for the life of the society itself in the age of global communication network. The nature, the role and the status of a language is the main issue here.
