Publishing activities are one of the priority directions of the scientific and enlightening work of the Moscow Museum of Modern Art. The large-size album «The 20th Century Reflected in the Collections of the Moscow Museum of Modern Art» by the famed art historian V. Turchin introduces the readers to the permanent collections. This thorough research of the unique art collection will be interesting to art lovers as well as to sophisticated experts.

Numerous exhibition catalogues occupy a special place among museum editions. Among recently issued catalogues, the «History of Russian Video Art. Volume 1», «I Believe: A Project of Artistic Optimism», «New Angelarium» and «Baroque» editions are very popular with the public.

Since 2003 the Moscow Museum of Modern Art has been publishing its own magazine «DI» («Dekorativnoye Iskusstvo»). The periodical has become the rightful successor of the reputable and authoritative Soviet magazine of the same name. The «DI» is devoted to the actual problems of the world art process. The magazine contains critic essays, reviews of exhibitions and other events of interest.
